Zeph and I went to Grandma Carlisles funeral this weekend. It was nice to see family and visit with everyone. Some of the most memorable moments were when Grandma and Grandpa Isom, Zeph and I went to JB's for breakfast and someone obviously upchucked their breakfast outside on the asphalt. Zeph decided that he needed to "convince" me it was just spilt from someone taking from the resturant. However, the peices were all mixed up and different colors. When we were leaving he realized it may be upchuck after all. I decided maybe breakfast wasn't such a good idea. I also need to ask Jeannee if she, "Wants a Yorkee!". Seeing that now my words are "as good as gold" I need to say the funniest part was when Mom Isom asked the waiter at Red Lobster if he was, "Tight with his biscuits." Now, the appropriate response would of been more mature of me to say, " I am sure he will get you as much as you need." Unfortunatly, Cheyenne and I just laughed really, really hard. We also got to see Kayla Buhler who was a missionairy in Tennessee where we live. In addition, we were able to learn from this trip that Grandma Carlisle was a rodeo queen, had a red saddle, and had Mennonites build her and Milt a shed. It must of been a great shed because the Mennonites showed up at the funeral. At first Zeph thought the Mennonites were Polygimists and Dad Isom agreed, since Grandma's first husband, Grandpa Ivan Carlisles' who had a twin brother who was a Polygimist. Then, Zeph realized the wives were at a one to one ratio, so they could not of been Polygimists. Obviously they were Mennonites that build really great sheds, but we are taking Step-Grandpa Milt's word on that. I suppose the moral of the story would be Mom Isom is not an orphan because she still has Step-Grandpa Milt.
We are GOOD AS GOLD!
